刘建新

刘建新，祖籍天津。1986年毕业于西安美术学院油画系，获艺术学学士学位。1993年考入中央美术学院油画系第七届硕士研究生课程创作班。2002年随文化交流代表团赴意大利、法国、德国、西班牙、荷兰等欧洲诸国进行艺术考察和学术交流。
主要作品有：《欢乐的日子》入选1997年中国艺术大展，当代油画艺术展。《假日》入选全国第八届美展。《春天里的记忆之一》入选北京首届中国艺术双年展获提名奖。《春天里的记忆之二》入选2001年中国油画大展并获优秀奖，全国第二、三届中国五个自治州美展，1994年意大利17人油画联展。《高原千秋》获第二届少数民族美术作品展纪念奖，2001年《红石榴》入选全国延安文艺讲话美展。《高原牧歌》入选第三届中国油画展。曾获省美展一、二、三等奖和优秀作品奖。1992年举办油画个展。作品和论文先后发表在《美术》、《美术研究》、《中国油画》、《美术观察》、《新美术》、《装饰》、《学院艺术》、《世界人体艺术鉴赏大典》、《中国高等美术学院油画作品全集》、《世界美术工作室——中央美术学院作品集》等全国各类学术核心刊物。
出版有《刘建新油画艺术作品集》、《中国当代新疆油画家——刘建新绘画作品》，作品被国内外博物馆、画廊和私人收藏。曾策划参与多次油画展览并担任评委。现为中国美术家协会会员，中国油画学会会员，新疆美术家协会理事，新疆美术家协会油画艺术委员会副主任，新疆师范大学美术学院硕士研究生导师、教授、绘画系主任。
