牟海霞,女,1962年6月生,山东人。曾就读于中央美术学院油画专业,天津美术学院油画系,西安美院研究生工作室。现为中国美术家协会会员,青海美术家协会理事,国家级一级美术师,青海西宁画院专业画家。

牟海霞,女,1962年6月生,山东人。曾就读于中央美术学院油画专业,天津美术学院油画系,西安美院研究生工作室。现为中国美术家协会会员,青海美术家协会理事,国家级一级美术师,青海西宁画院专业画家。
牟海霞自幼酷爱绘画创作,其创作涉及广泛,于油画,版画,中国画,水粉画等诸多绘画技法领域均颇有研究,且尤以油画作品和版画作品见长为书画界所广泛关注。
正如原青海省美术家协会主席左良先生所曾评价的一样:“她是青海省从上个世纪九十年代到现在美术活动比较活跃,美术创作成绩比较显著的女画家,是一个真正从基层里成长起来的女画家,她基于其个人的人身经历,在其所创作的作品中没有大红大紫亦不见兴高采烈或意气风发,其美学特征是一种悲天悯人的淡淡的悲悯情怀。她的作品既有比较扎实的基本功,又有现实主义的关注现实生活,生活气息浓郁这样的特点,同时她还具有现代艺术的新的现代气息。”这样的评价对于这位立足于青藏高原上才华横溢的女艺术家不能说不是一个客观又富有人文气息的真实写照。
其作品多以青藏高原所特有的藏族地域文化为主,笔触洒脱造型朴拙简约却给人以独特的美感。其人物画在构图上追求画面的厚重感并力求在精神层面上有进一步的深入,从其所身处的地域特色中那异乎寻常的生活环境和民风民俗中获得题材和灵感,捕捉神秘的人文环境,于色彩的幻变与构图的精妙中参与自己独到的审美观念。她亦擅长静物的描绘,以自己作为一个女性的独特气质与性情去驾驭笔触。牟海霞在版画的创作上也颇有见底,于其所处的地域人文中借鉴西方现代抽象绘画中的形式,采用满篇幅的构成,同时注重层次,远近,虚实的传统审美观念。以线条与大块面构成,点染技法与重彩相结合,统一在画面形式的构成中,表现了人与自然的新思索与理解。
