舒湘汉美术作品

舒湘汉，1951年出生于湖南吉首，土家族。1973年毕业于湖南师范大学美术学院，现为吉首大学美术学院院长、教授、湖南省美术家协会理事、张家界市美术家协会主席。
30多年来一直从事中国画创作与教学，作品题材多反映湘鄂西革命斗争史和湘西农村民俗风情，先后创作了100余件中国画，分别参加各种国家级、省级美术作品展，部分作品获特等奖、精品奖、优秀奖。一些作品还辑入各种大型画集，部分作品散见于各专业刊物。他于2005年夏出访欧洲，在德国举办的中国文化艺术展中，中国画《太白邀约图》、《苗女冬元》等参加展出，并被德国专业画家协会收藏。
在进行教学与创作的同时，对中国画进行了一些理论研究，多篇论文发表在国家艺术类核心刊物上。出版了理论专著《流逝与永恒——中国画的审美精神》。
