匡剑

匡剑美术作品

匡剑，1961年生，安徽省合肥市人。
中国美术家协会会员。1983年毕业于解放军艺术学院，同年分配到八一电影制片厂工作，1993年转业。现为职业油画家。
2001年在人民大学徐悲鸿艺术学院任客座教授。自1993年开始，作品多次参加在中国、德国、美国、日本、马来西亚、新加坡、澳大利亚、意大利、加拿大、法国、英国及中国香港、台湾地区举办的画展。
作品《棕色黄昏》在第七届全国美展中获奖，并作为上海美术馆藏品在德国巡回展时，印制成广告招牌作品被广泛传播。《错位》参加第八届全国美展，并在美国古根汉姆博物馆举办的“中华5000年文明大展”中，受到高度赞扬。参加第十届全国美展、国际艺苑美术馆邀请展、北京风韵展、第二届北京国际画廊博览会、上海艺术沙龙展、法国沙龙展、中国与加拿大艺术交流展等。先后在日本、美国、马来西亚、及中国香港、北京等地举行个人画展。2001年以来先后到荷兰、法国、德国、奥地利、英国和中国台湾地区进行考察。曾应美国驻华大使尚慕杰之邀，作为中国优秀艺术家代表与美国大都会博物馆馆长，《纽约时报》主编及收藏家，批评家进行学术交流。
作品广为海内外美术馆等艺术机构及私人收藏。哥伦比亚总统、澳大利亚总理霍克、美国收藏家哈夫纳、其他多国政要及法国贵族等均有收藏。国内不少知名藏家也收藏其不少作品。
匡剑在中国美术从20世纪80年代到90年代的转换中出场，他试图在不丢开架上绘画知识和技能的同时，输入装置、行为艺术的创作过程和观念形态，从而创造出非自然摹本，表达出一种新的真实，显示出他鲜明的对时代的敏感。在他的女儿作品系列中，在探寻纯真质朴的人性温暖的同时，更呈现出博大、深邃、厚重的人性精神。或许是他对90年代那种缥缈的，充满玄思的时空错置的反驳，从而把来自于欧洲古典主义油画经典语言运用服务于中国传统艺术的写意性原则，立足本土文化精神，追求中国古有的意象性审美品格。他的作品既无“洋味”又无“匠气”，取而代之的是一种写实与写意、感性与理性、再现与表现和谐统一的时代感。画家用具象写意的笔触增添了无比丰富厚实的容量，不仅是对自己写实油画的超越，也是对中国观念性写实油画的突破。匡剑用自己的艺术在当代画坛找到了追求灵肉和谐的人性美的理想主义定位。
