毕业于华东师范大学艺术系。
现为中国美术家协会会员、安徽省美术家协会副主席、安徽日报社主任编辑。油画、版画、绘画理论多有建树。
作品入选文化部和中国美术家协会主办的“第八、九、十和十一届”全国美展等，多次获全国美展优秀作品奖。在国家专业美术报刊上发表论文多篇。
2004年作为中国美术家协会代表团成员赴法国参加“中法文化年”的美术活动。
2008年获“安徽省首届优秀青年美术家”荣誉称号。
