沈士庄

沈士庄(1905.10—1986.4)原名高庄，上海宝山人。
擅长工艺美术、美术教育。1927年毕业于上海中华艺术大学。抗战期间参加全国木刻界抗敌协会。1946年后在北平艺专陶瓷系任教，曾任华北联大鲁迅艺术学院美术系主任。
建国后历任清华大学副教授，中央工艺美术学院教授。曾参加中华人民共和国国徽的设计工作，负责修改国徽的图案和最后完成国徽模型的塑造。
解放以前
1924年于上海艺术专科师范工艺系毕业后，入上海艺术大学美术系学习。
1925年“五卅”运动起，直到1947年“五二○”的多次反帝爱国运动，他都走在游行队伍的前列。
1927年毕业于上海中华艺术大学。抗战期间参加全国木刻界抗敌协会。
1946年后在北平艺专陶瓷系任教，曾任华北联大鲁迅艺术学院美术系主任。建国后历任清华大学副教授，中央工艺美术学院教授。
1947年因参加“五二○”游行受到反动当局的迫害，在地下党帮助下到了解放区，任冀察热辽联大鲁迅艺术学院美术系主任。
建国之后
1954年冬，高庄作为中央美院访苏代表团的成员，带着自己创制的被称作中华人民共和国“建国瓷”的新陶瓷工艺品赴苏展览。
1957年“反右”，被强加的“反苏反共”等罪名又被人旧事重提，但当年被指定为中央美院“反右”领导小组组长的专家张仃后来证明说，那时并没有给高庄戴“右派”的帽子。
1960年冬，到山东淄博陶瓷厂下放劳动。沿途目睹极为严重的灾情，非常同情苦难的人民，并在会议上有所表示，被人说成是“恶毒攻击三面红旗”。
1961年1月，被调到全国手工业合作总社工艺美术局。第二年，合作总社党委和工艺美术局党支部要给他摘“右派”帽子，说“我根本无帽可摘”，这又被认为“拒不改造”。
终于，1964年3月初，合作总社党委以“态度极为恶劣”等为由，决定对高庄“开除公职，劳动教养”，让民警给高庄戴上手铐推上囚车，押往监狱。
在劳教与就业过程中，高庄仍然痴心难改。在政治学习会上，他批判林彪的“一句顶一万句”、“理解的要执行，不理解的也要执行”等等谬论，认为是对毛泽东思想的歪曲。结果被新账老账一齐算，直到林彪叛逃摔死为止。
但是，林彪摔死后，高庄只是被摘去“右派”帽子，1954年的问题至死没有彻底解决。
