官其格

官其格，一九三九年生。内蒙哲里木盟人。蒙古族。擅长油画。1960年中央美术学院附中毕业。1965年中央美术学院油画系毕业。中央民族学院美术系副教授。现旅居美国。系国际中国美术家协会常务主席、世界少儿艺术交流中心主席。
1982年在中国美术馆举办画展，1986年在日本东京名古屋举办了《官其格油画展》和《官其格油画、壁画展》；1987年在澳门市政厅举办“丝绸之路”专题油画展；1990年在洛杉矶举办《绿色的梦》油画展。2003年在上海举办《绿色的梦》油画展览。
作品还曾赴日本、意大利、扎伊尔、刚果、孟加拉国等国展出。
代表作品有《草原红花》、《春羔》、《春》等被中国美术馆等机构收藏。
1965年，官其格以优异的成绩从中央美院毕业，不久，“文革”爆发了，在全国一片热火朝天的运动中，官其格独自沿着丝绸之路来到大西北，一头扎进举世闻名的敦煌石窟和克孜尔石窟临摹壁画，一画就是8年。精美的画作使官其格感到内心深处的震撼，他沉浸在艺术的世界里，反复地画，不停地画，常常是随身带上两个窝头、一壶水，就在石窟里泡上一天。8年“不见天日”的生活给官其格带来巨大的收获，反复地观察、临摹使他饱受中国传统文化的熏陶，吃透了中国古代壁画的表现手法和精神，锻炼出了扎实的基本功，也由此生出了对民族传统文化深深的理解与热爱。
官其格本人是蒙古族，从小生长在内蒙古大草原上，因此，他对民族尤其是北方民族有着深厚的感情。他虽早已定居海外，但特别善于用画笔表现中国各民族的团结与美丽，浓厚的民族情怀始终是其作品的主题。来到《揭开面纱的伊莎娜》前，官其格指着画作向我们讲起了这幅作品背后的故事。
那是官其格在喀什采风的时候，一天，他在街上看到一位维吾尔族少女，少女裹着面纱，看不到真面目，但那美丽的背影和面纱下若隐若现的脸庞轮廓透出的青春气息摄住了官其格的内心，他不由得跟在少女后面，希望能一睹其芳容。穿过大街小巷，少女越走越远，很快走出了市区，最后来到了香妃墓前。这时，她似乎感觉到了一直跟随其后的官其格，于是转过身来，撩起面纱向他看去。这一瞬间，时间似乎凝固了；只一眼，那少女的目光已经深深地印在了他的脑海中。“太美了！”官其格发自内心地赞叹道。回来后，他便创作出这幅作品——一位维吾尔族少女在一芽新月下掀起了面纱，望向外面的世界。
类似的民族人物作品还有很多：一幅《西域新娘》画出了维吾尔族少女的秀美；《蒙古女孩》展现了蒙古族少女的内心世界；还有藏族、哈萨克族……官其格的作品集简直成了中国各民族大聚会。画家有国籍，但艺术无国界，这些表现中国民族的作品曾跟着他走遍世界，在欧洲、美国、日本等地都有展出，同样深受当地观众的欢迎。参观过官其格的画室，外交部前部长李肇星也深有感触地说：越是民族的，越是世界的。
