2000年资助亚洲农业发展基金会和中国共青团治理母亲河黄河项目。2001年任珠穆朗玛峰环保委员会驻香港首席代表。任世界杰出华人基金会顾问。2004年任联合国全球其月季花中国中心副秘书长。作品《盛放的罂粟》获国家文化部举办的首届国际华人诗书画大展中国画铜奖。有些作品被海外博物馆及藏家收藏。
