周君达

周君达(1935.9—)出生于北京，汉族，福建建阳人。自幼酷爱书画艺术，中学时代便刻意临摹历代以及当代名家作品，曾得到吴作人先生的指点。1956年参加了北京中国书法研究社，在张伯驹等著名书法家的引导下，大大开阔了眼界和思路。1958年考入北京中国画院进修写意花鸟，师从王雪涛、汪慎生、娄师白诸位名师学画，作品师法自然，以清新秀丽见长。从1956年作品首次参加北京青年美展以来，曾多次参加北京市乃至全国美展以及香港等地的展览，其作品特别是墨竹从60年代初便交流到欧美、日本等国，深受外国朋友的欢迎。1997年在美国加州举办了个人画展。2003年在加拿大渥太华参加当地组织的露天画展。其作品在一段时期作为国家教委主任最珍贵的礼品在出访和接待来访时赠送给各国教育部长。70年代末以来，在推动利用电视录像编导制作画家技法节目中做了许多工作，促进中国艺术通过电视媒体进行广泛传播。编导了《中国画技法》20集，主讲并演示的电视录像节目《怎样画墨竹》、《学画花鸟画》20集先后出版并在电视台播出，出版有《墨竹初步》《中国画墨竹技法》等书及论述中国画技法文章若干。1959年毕业于北京师范大学，曾任教育部中央电化教育馆副馆长、编审，并在几所大学担任客座教授，长期从事教育技术工作，享受国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴。
